Reasonable price with the great food and authentic thai tea. Definitely a must to try for chicken and waffles.

This has to be one of my favorite breakfast spots in the valley. It's a no frills down home type of cooking breakfast or lunch. They are only open till 2pm and only serve breakfast or lunch. They both really well! I've come twice and both times the service was amazing. As stated, there are no frills so the interior is like eating in a diner, which I love. If you haven't been, give Hungry Fox a shot and let the food and service speak for itself.

I eat here occasionally, and while it is a bit pricey it's still somewhere I make my way too because the service is always excellent. Food I Ordered: Thai Iced Jasmine Green Tea -- 8/10 The bitterness of the green tea compliments the sweetness so it's quite refreshing. Super Waffle -- 8/10 The waffles are the star for me whenever I eat here! Personally, I am not a huge fan of Belgian waffles because they're very thick and it's too much bread most of the time. So whenever possible I get a regular waffle, and Hungry Fox's regular waffles are the best in the valley. They have a nice crisp to them, they're spongey, and they hold syrup very well. Other dishes from the menu I'd recommend: Pam's Loco Moco (pork chop based, instead of a regular beef patty) Chicken & Waffles (ask for the spicy syrup they have, it's really good) Cons: They have a free, small parking lot, so it's a bit confusing to park into. Especially when it's your first time and if you're coming west from Sherman Way. TLDR: Great place for a quick bite! Parking is limited so arrive early, and the food is consistently good if just a tad pricey. The excellent service and staff make up for it though.

Who knew? This Jersey girl was loving the ambiance of the hood already. This little gem is a great place. The choices are many, the service is sweet, attentive but not annoying, the portions giant and tasty. My brother opted for the pork chop, which is the specialty of the house apparently and he was very happy. I had the waffle and egg option with a side of bacon and it was plentiful and delicious. I recommend it.

I have a friend who loves diners so we came here the other day while in the area. The restaurant is pretty unassuming, and the inside is kind of a hodge podge when it comes to decor. But honestly, that's what makes Hungry Fox so charming. It's a no-frills place that's all about the food. And the food is good! I had the Felix Breakfast sandwich with some hash browns. It was delicious, and they really stuffed it, so I ended up making two meals out of it. I think they might even make their own hash browns because you could see potato skins in there. My friend had some french toast with strawberries, and she devoured it all. Had to have been good! Service was excellent. The waitresses are friendly and very attentive. We had a cracked water cup and our waitress noticed before we could say something and brought a new one. I love that it's Thai-owned as well. Gives the place a unique diner feel. And some of the food is like Thai-American fusion. An American breakfast plate using Thai sausage for example. Or they have Thai iced coffee and tea. Parking is a little tricky. There might be a lot but we couldn't figure that out from the direction we came, so we parked on the street. Can't wait to come back and try their chicken and waffles!

Perfect place for brunch on a Saturday morning, when you are hungry and all you want is to eat something delicious... and fast! I was craving something sweet but could not let go of the savory food too, so I went for the breakfast combo (eggs, sausages and waffles) with the strawberry+nutella+whipped cream topping. It was sensational, one of the best waffles I've ever had, so light and airy with a crispy crust. The coffee was really good, and my husband's biscuit sandwich was very pretty as you can see in the photo. Service was quick and friendly and I can't wait to come back to try their famous fried chicken (we sat by the kitchen window and all we could hear was the marvelous sound of frying chicken).

A seriously good Asian diner in North Hollywood. I say Asian because the entire front house staff is and they have many different Asian options and flavors on the menu, which is a total unique change from the traditional diners all around LA, which is one of my favorite parts of this place. I also appreciated how clean and organized it was inside. There is a medium-sized parking lot attached for free parking and it's indoor seating only. The restaurant itself is not very large so there may be a wait during especially busy times. The whole staff was very polite and my server was very attentive. Everything I ordered came out really fast as well. Being that they have a lot of different Asian flavors I went with a totally different breakfast dish for myself this time and chose the Loco Moco. I had not had that in quite a while and it was a wonderful reminder of how good that dish is. I also ordered a side of buttermilk biscuits, and although the biscuits are not traditional southern flaky buttermilk biscuits, they more taste like scones, I still enjoyed them. Pricing is also very fair and overall it was a really nice meal. I would recommend to anyone searching for a good diner or a great casual breakfast or lunch option.

I love this place! Super family friendly, parking lot available and delicious food. Hungry fox offers a no frills diner type of experience but with great food and excellent service. The waitresses here were so friendly and very sweet with our son. They have all kind of dishes on their menu from breakfast classics to sandwiches, burgers and even things like loco moco and breakfast quesadillas. Some of their dishes also have a Thai inspired twist to them. They have a great kids menu too. Hungry Fox is great for families, but would also be great for a hungover breakfast. I got a breakfast sandwich and a side of fruit and the fruit was so fresh! Their waffles have a delightful crisp to them and make a great addition to any dish. Portions are great and prices are reasonable. I can't wait to come back with my friends! I really want to try the fried chicken!
